Our next book club meeting will be Thursday, July 1st. We will be discussing Wild Swans by Jung Chang. We are in need of a host and a discussion leader for July. Please let me know if you are willing to do it.
Can you believe it’s been almost a year since Emily so graciously organized our little book club?!?! BIG THANKS TO EMILY!!! It has been a ton of fun, and I hope we can keep it going strong. Good luck in your new adventures!
We will be picking new books for the next year at our July meeting, so PLEASE SEND ME YOUR SUGGESTIONS, along with a brief synopsis of the book. The more suggestions, the better! If you have something you have loved or have been thinking about reading, please send me an e-mail: susan [@] spearheadnet.com so we can have a good selection to choose from, and then make sure you come on July 1st so you can have a vote in the books we pick!!!
Lastly, when it comes to book club, the more the merrier! Feel free to invite your friends and neighbors that may not know about our little group. We have a lot of new people in the area, so let’s spread the word and get as many people out as possible! And don’t be afraid to come if you haven’t read the book or haven’t finished the book. I can pretty much guarantee you won’t be alone, and we still have awesome discussions! :~)
